Purchasing
How can I join or renew? Memberships may be purchased online at https://creativity.org/join/.
If I buy my membership today, can I visit today? Yes! You may begin using your member benefits as soon as you have purchased a membership! Please present your purchase confirmation at the door. For Innovative Family memberships, your caregiver can check in by providing the primary member’s name.
I visited the museum today. Can I apply my admission cost toward a new membership? Yes! You may apply the cost of admission towards a new membership if the membership is purchased within 7 days of your visit. The maximum number of tickets you may apply towards your membership is limited to the number of members the membership allows and all children in the household may be applied. Email us at membership@creativity.org or stop by the museum front desk for more information.
How long is a membership valid? A membership is valid for one year from the time of purchase (e.g., if the purchase date = August 5, 2024, the expiration date = August 5, 2025).
Can I upgrade my membership to another level? Yes! You may do so anytime during your membership by emailing us at membership@creativity.org. A mid-term upgrade does not extend your membership expiration date. Upgraded members will only receive benefits (additional guest passes) that were not already originally included in the initial membership package.
I would like to buy a gift membership for a family. How can I do this? Give the gift of creativity by purchasing a gift membership online at https://creativity.org/join/. Be sure to select ‘This membership is a gift.’ while making your online purchase. Your gift recipient will receive a gift certificate via email which they may bring into the museum to activate. The gift certificate will be redeemable for up to 12 months from the purchase date.
When will a gift membership expire? After a gift recipient redeems their gift certificate, their membership is valid for one year from time of redemption. Our memberships expire at the end of the month of redemption the following year. The expiration date is not a year from when the gift membership was purchased, but instead, a year from its redemption (e.g., if the purchase date = July 1, 2024, and the gift membership was redeemed on August 15, 2024, the expiration date = August 15, 2025).
Is my membership tax-deductible? Children's Creativity Museum memberships include tangible items such as guest passes and carousel tickets. These tangible items are currently valued at $80 for our $209 Creative Family memberships and $160 for our $349 Innovative Family memberships. The Children's Creativity Museum (EIN 94-3178735) does not provide tax advice. Please consult your tax preparator if you wish to claim the remaining membership value as a contribution.
Does the Children’s Creativity Museum participate in a matching gift program? Yes! Your membership purchase counts as a contribution to the Children’s Creativity Museum. Please check with your employer about their matching gift program guidelines and procedures. If your membership qualifies with your employer, your gift of creativity will double!
Digital Membership Cards
Digital Membership Cards
The Children’s Creativity Museum offers digital membership cards, which can be downloaded and saved to your smartphone! This means that you will no longer need to worry about leaving your membership card at home! When purchasing or renewing your membership, you will receive an email with a link to download your membership card for easy access.
Can I visit before I have received my membership card? Yes! Please present your membership purchase confirmation at our museum entrance.
When will I receive my digital membership card? You should receive a link via email for you to download your digital membership card within one week from the date of purchase. You may need to check your spam folder to ensure delivery. If you do not receive an email, please contact us at membership@creativity.org.
How do I add the membership card to my iPhone? Access the email from your smartphone and click the "Download" button, then click "Add to Wallet" and "Add." The card will automatically be added to your iPhone’s Apple Wallet. It can be accessed in Wallet at any time.
How do I add the membership card to my Android phone? Android users need to download Wallet Passes from Google Play. After you have the app, access the email from your smartphone and click “Download” in the membership email. The card will automatically be added to your Wallet Passes app, where it can be accessed at any time.
I downloaded my card but I can’t find it. If you have an iPhone, the card will automatically download to Apple Wallet. Check the app for your new card (scroll through any cards that are already there - it may be hiding!). If you have an Android, you’ll need to download Wallet Passes from the Play Store prior to downloading the card.
My family member is on this membership account also. Can I share the card with him/her? Yes! If you are using iOS, navigate to the back of the card (tap on the "..." button on the front), then tap on the share icon at the top right to send the card to your secondary member. If you are using Android, navigate to the back of the card (tap on the small "i" on the front) and use the “Share Pass” button to send the card to your secondary member.
Can I share my membership card with other family members and friends to use at the museum? Creative Family member cards are non-transferable, meaning only the purchasing member family and the secondary named adult on the membership may enter the museum. Innovative Family members may share their digital membership cards with a caregiver to accompany their child(ren) in their absence. All membership levels receive a set number of single-use guest passes in their membership package – each pass provides admissions for one person. These are one-time use guest passes that members may send to their guests. Members do not have to be present for the guests to use them.
I have a question about my membership level or wish to correct the spelling of my name. Please email us at membership@creativity.org if you have any questions about our membership programs.

Membership Terms and Conditions
Membership benefits cannot be shared or transferred to others. For safety reasons, children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a supervising adult, parent, or guardian at all times.
To maintain the integrity of our membership program, starting Saturday, October 12, our Visitor Services team will verify IDs at check-in. At least one of the two designated adults listed on your membership must be present for each visit. You are welcome to bring one guest, but they must remain accompanied by one of the designated adults on your membership throughout their visit.
Please note, for memberships with two active members, additional membership holders cannot be substituted during the term. If another family member wishes to be added as a designated adult, they will need to purchase a separate membership.
Innovative Member benefits allow for the designation of one caregiver who may bring your children to the museum in your absence. Your children must always be present with your caregiver to access the museum. Any accompanying guests must pay for museum admission.
Cancellations
CCM memberships are non-refundable and benefits are non-transferable.
