Educator Allie Stephens went on an amazing journey to Kathmandu, Nepal to teach our hands-on workshops to educators and children at the Children’s Art Museum of Nepal. Over the course of five days, Allie facilitated engaging games and activities to 120+ children, educators, and museum staff in Kathmandu. From Makey Makey, to Bloxels, and our favorite – The Mystery Box Challenge – participants were able to build their creative confidence through these workshops and showcase what they made using their imagination. Allie also led immersive professional development workshops where teachers learned how to lower the barriers between students and creativity by encouraging risk-taking and asking open-ended questions. We are so proud to see the impact Allie had in sharing our mission of nurturing creativity and collaboration to all children and families in Nepal.
Thank you Children’s Art Museum of Nepal for your partnership and special thanks to Hosteling International USA for supporting Allie’s endeavor. Take a peek at her photo album HERE
