Did you know that children lacking creative confidence are less engaged with school and achieve lower levels of academic success? The Children’s Creativity Museum relies on your generosity to help ensure access to creativity and collaboration in all children and families. Together, we provide free field trips and hands-on experiences to build creative confidence and foster artistic expression in children from all backgrounds.
We hosted the final 2018 field trip on December 14th. We just received a note from the teacher at Achieve Academy. “The experience far surpassed what I could have imagined both from a joy and skills perspective. The students were asked to work collaboratively in complex ways that pushed them to use skills they’re developing. The level of engagement was also something I haven’t seen as a whole class this year. Every student was engaged in the process. They were genuinely bought into the experience from start to finish which is the best type of engagement. I was truly impressed by the staff and the access to technology.”
This year, we provided free admission to over 3,000 visitors. We also served over 5,000 participants from under-resourced schools with over 150 field trip scholarships.
There are more children and families who could benefit from the experiences at the museum, but we need your help!
