The Children’s Creativity Museum relies on your generosity to nurture creativity and collaboration in all children and families. Together, we can provide free field trips and hands-on experiences to build creative confidence and foster artistic expression in children from all backgrounds.
Shardie Thomas-Ezell, Art Teacher at Bret Harte Middle School, recently brought her class to the museum and writes “It saddens me that the majority of my students live in poverty and for many of them it was their first time ever visiting San Francisco (although it’s only 15 miles away from Oakland).” CCM was able to provide a fee-waived field trip so that Shardie’s students could experience the creative, innovative, and imaginative exhibits.
Over the past year, we have provided over 3,000 visitors in need with free admission. We also served over 5,000 participants from under-resourced schools with over 150 field trip scholarships. There are more children in need, but we need your help! In this coming year we want to:
Give the gift of creativity today especially for children who may not be given many opportunities otherwise.
