In the Creative Coding field trip, students will be introduced to the principles of programming and game development using Tynker, an online learning platform created specifically for kids. Fundamental concepts used by professional programmers are taught through fun and easy-to-understand activities.  As students create and share their interactive art projects, they develop important design and problem-solving skills, while learning to think creatively and work collaboratively. Each class will have their interactive animations or simple games uploaded to an online gallery where they can be viewed, and even edited if students want to continue working from home.
