2012-13 Visiting Artists UrumaDelvi
ANIMATION WORKSHOPS
Every Sat. & Sun. through June 30 | 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

UrumaDelvi is an award-winning animation team that has created hundreds of short films and unique characters. As designated “Cultural Envoys” to the U.S. by the Japanese Government, UrumaDelvi are excited to share “Picmo,” a software program they designed that allows children of all ages to create their own animations in a few minutes. They will host weekly workshops in our Design Studio inviting families to create collaborative animations. Workshops are drop-in, free with paid museum admission and open to all ages.

The Children’s Creativity Museum is proud to partner with visiting artists, both locally and internationally, in fostering dialogue on creativity. Each year, an artist is invited to the museum to further develop their own body of work, while researching our 21st-century approach to learning. We encourage a creative exchange between the artists and visiting families through workshops led by our visiting artists.
