At the Children’s Creativity Museum, we believe that ALL youth and families deserve access to innovative, affordable programs that are both entertaining and educational.

As a non-profit children’s museum, we rely on the support of individuals, private foundations, businesses, public agencies, and other donors to realize our commitment to providing 21st-century learning that is the foundation for our kids’ ability to think and act creatively as global citizens.

Every gift makes a difference in building and sustaining a 21st-century children’s museum that reflects the San Francisco Bay Area’s rich diversity and creative spirit. We ask that your gift be personally meaningful to you and reflect your commitment to our mission to nurture the creativity, collaboration, and communication of all youth and families.


Because our budget consists of a healthy mix of earned revenue as well as the continued generous support of the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, 100% of our donations are devoted to the support of the Museum’s public and educational programs for kids and families.

GIVING LEVELS

$40 Artist

Covers arts and crafts material costs in our Imagination Lab on an average weekend.  Our Imagination Lab is our immersive experience where visiting kids and families can imagine, create, and share their own art projects.

 

$65 Designer

Purchases one new costume for our visitors to wear in our Act It! green-screen live performance area

 

$100 Animator

Allows us to purchase 100 new songs for our Music Studio where children and families can create their own music videos to take home

 

$250 Innovator

Covers the cost of materials and staffing for our DIY Studio where youth work with a community artist to create their own project exploring light, movement, and other fun themes for kids

 

$500 Director

Provides 60 preschoolers with interactive storytelling and artmaking activities that are critical to their healthy development as lifelong learners

 

$1,000 Associate Producer’s Circle

Sponsors a community youth art exhibit in our Spiral Gallery, where we showcase artwork created by youth artists from organizations such as World Savvy and BAYCAT

 

$2,500 Producer’s Circle

Allows us to buy a complete multimedia computer lab station for our Design Studio where visitors use Adobe Photoshop to create custom effects on their family’s digital portrait

 

$5,000 Executive Producer’s Circle

Provides 750 K-12 students with workshop-based training in stop-motion clay animation, music video production, or digital magazine design

 

Monthly Donor Program

Want to support us but can’t make a one-time gift? Consider making an automatic monthly donation. $10 each month for 1 year makes you an Animator-level donor and earns you recognition in our annual report and in our list of Contributors on this website!

 

Sparking Creativity Fund

It takes a city to raise today’s kids and tomorrow’s creative leaders. Our special Sparking Creativity Fund helps us with the costs of our newest exhibits and programs and enhancements for our youngest visitors.
