Imagination Lab
The Imagination Lab is an introduction to our educational approach of inspiring our visitors to IMAGINE, CREATE and SHARE. Here, kids of all ages are inspired to IMAGINE an idea in our interactive hands-on environment, CREATE something original in our studio spaces, and then take their work home to SHARE with their friends and families or display at the museum. Our Spiral Gallery and Cloud Gallery also give visitors a chance to share their stories and artwork. Ages 3-6

While in the Imagination Lab, be sure to meet CRE-8 the Robot. CRE-8 loves to create new things, which is why you can usually find her here. Whether directing a puppet show, joining a DIY Studio Workshop, or constructing the tallest tower that she can, CRE-8 is right at home because she can create so many different things all in one place! |
The Imagination Lab was developed and designed by Maria Mortati in collaboration with CCM staff. Design and fabrication by Pseudo Studio. Special thanks to Eric Paulson for Cloud Gallery fabrication, Liz Turbolizard for upholstery, Fossil Faux Studios for detailing, Debra Darlington for project management, and Matthew Chilbert and Majenta Strongheart for puppet and costume design.
