PAINT YOUR DREAMS

In this workshop, facilitated by DIY Featured Artist Calcagno Cullen, children can illustrate their most imaginative thoughts by creating self portraits with idea bubbles. Kids will share creative stories in a fun and unique way using oil pastels, watercolor, and collage materials.

FEATURED ARTIST: Calcagno Cullen Calcagno Cullen is currently the Program Coordinator for the Art4Schools Program at Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View.  She is also a multimedia artist and received her MFA from the University of Cincinnati in 2007.  Her work has been shown in many curated exhibits throughout the US and she was recently featured in the performance and film festival, DISTANCE in London, England as well as had work shown at the TEDxSF talks at YBCA in San Francisco.  In summer 2011 she was awarded an Embark Grant through Million Fishes and False Profit, LLC, and had a subsequent solo show at Million Fishes Art Collective in San Francisco.
